Re-usable Bonbons by Pi’lo

May 18, 2011

Looking for a unique party favour for your guests?  Well, I recently came across these amazing felt bonbons by Pi’lo on Etsy.  Each bonbon is created in eco-felt (made from recycled softdrink bottles) with a lining and organza ribbon twist at the end.  The bonbons can be filled over and over again with chocolates, trinkets or messages.  They would make the perfect dinner party favour or you could try a coloured eco felt as a snazzy party favour.   I’ve sourced some eco-felt from The Thread Studio in Australia and I’m going to add coloured eco-felt bonbons to my party craft projects.

Pi’lo is the creation of Heather Shaw.  Heather works out of a coach house studio behind her Victorian house in the heart of downtown Toronto, Canada. It is a very calm and soothing space with natural light and plenty of inspiration.  She endeavours to make things carefully and responsibly and hopes that each item will be passed down to future generations as family heirlooms. The Pi’lo product lines include party, accessories, kids, wall art and the holiday season.  I want it all!  You can view Heather’s beautiful website HERE and her Etsy store, Pilosale right HERE.

NOTE: You can read more about eco-felt via Clutterpunk, which is where I originally found The Thread Store.
