DIY Party Favour Luminary

October 15, 2012

At a recent vintage beach themed party, I created tropical print luminaries to give to guests as party favours. They are quite easy to make and look wonderful when assembled. I bought some transparent paper (100gsm) from my local paper store and printed an A40-sized tropical pattern through my colour printer at home. Once the printing had dried, I adhered double-sided tape to the left edge and gently rolled them into a roll.

I wrapped the luminary in kraft gift-wrapping paper and orange tissue paper.  Included in the bonbon wrapping was a little instruction card to guide our guests on how they should use their luminary.

    Hi there,
I love your tropical luminaries. I’ve been looking for this pattern but cannot find it. Might you be able to guide me to it?
    Thank you,

      Hi Claire,

Thanks so much for your kind words. I’ve tried to find the pattern to send to you, but I can’t seem to find it. I’m sorry I’m not able to help you with the exact pattern. Perhaps you could use another pattern that’s similiar.

      Thanks for dropping by,
