This is a unique DIY party crowns project that I want to share with you. I was inspired by some DIY party hats on Pinterest. If you’ve ever walked into a party store, you’ll know that the variety of hats available can be limited. This is an inexpensive and fun way to create your own stylish DIY party crowns for your next party.
I made these sparkly gold crowns after I realised that I didn’t have any party hats for my guests. I quickly looked around my craft box and spied some sparkly gift wrapping paper leftover from Christmas. I whipped out my scissors and cut long strips (enough to encircle my head) and then snipped into the top of one side of paper to create wavy edges. Once I had finished cutting, I simply stapled the ends together. You can then colour in the staples with a gold pen or nail polish.
It was a very easy DIY project. I’ve since used leftover gift boxes and other wrapping paper to create unique party crowns. Check out my Pinterest board for more DIY party craft ideas too.
